Hello … this year, Zurich’s street parade is scheduled for August 10. I am planning to visit on August 12 for 2 days. Do you think that the city’s beautiful cleanliness will restored by August 12? … Will the city have recovered from it’s hangover 🙂 Please let me know what your experience has been in Zurich days after the street parade.

    Hi F1fan,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

The Street Parade is a spectacular event – magical, colourful, loud and a big crazy, an attraction for people from all over the world and a big time in Zurich.

The cleaning forces of the City of Zurich have quite some experience with this big event and are very efficient, normally working all night, so that by the morning the city is clean and ready for a new day! You might see one or the other Raver still bobbing along the streets, that’s practically it.

No need at all to avoid Zurich because of a city-hangover or similar!

Here some info about Zurich for your days available after the party and a nice link for the Street Parade:

Happy dancing and enjoy your stay in Zurich.

    Best,

You will absolutely not know that a crazy street festival happened the day before. 🙂
