We’ll be in Switzerland, Interlaken area, the 3rd week of June next year. From everything we’ve read it’s our understand packing layers is our best bet to be prepared for all weather eventualities. Will we need to include a coat/jacket even though it will be summer when we are there?

    thanks!

    Hi JenOliStan,

That’s right. Summer here starts in June and you can expect the temperatures to be mild and warm. However it might still be single digits in the mountains so if you’re planning numerous mountain excursions during your trip, be sure to bring a light jacket or rainproof outerwear to keep warm. Hope this helps you to pack accordingly.

Thanks for this advice and the links! I’ll pack a lightweight jacket just to be safe 🙂 This trip is taking capsule wardrobe to a whole new level lol!
