I will be visiting Switzerland in first week of May 2020. I plan to buy 3 days Swiss Travel pass. Do I need to buy this pass now or can I wait for some time? Does the price go up near the travel date?

Hi SPal,

you can buy it now or you can wait it is up to you. It won’t be more expensive over time and won’t run out either. You can buy it even after you’ve arrived in Switzerland, although I recommend to buy it at least a few days earlier so you can save time at the airport and just jump on the first train you need. If you have the pass via e-mail it is more comfortable as you cannot lose it or cannot get damaged (as paper passes can).
