Where to travel from Zurich and Lucerne?

Hello.

My husband and I are planning a stay in Switzerland in mid February. We will be staying in Zurich for two nights and then moving to Lucerne for 5 nights. We'd like advice on an itinerary for that time. We'd like to take some mountain tours, see some museums, and perhaps visit some wine areas. What do you suggest with regard to sight seeing and rail passes?

Please note that most wine areas are in the southern part of Switzerland, quite far off from Zurich and Lucerne. Moreover, theý're not very interesting in winter.

Basel may be the art museum "capital" of Switzerland, as little as 1 hour 1 minute from Luzern.
