    Hello,

I booked a trip on the Bernina Express on http://www.rhb.ch from St. Moritz to Lugano 1st class. On this trip I was able to choose seats on the bus portion but there was no mention of the train portion. Going back now and looking at the details it says that a reservation for the train is not possible because it operates with standard coaches in both 1st and 2nd class. What exactly does this mean? Are standard coaches still panoramic? I guess we just board the train and pick any seats then?

    See attachment.

    Thank you

The 10:48 is not the Bernina Express. It is a regular train.

Hi! Regular trains don’t have panoramic coaches, but you’ll ride the exact same journey with the same views. Please see “Regular trains versus Bernina Express” at https://www.myswissalp s.com/berninaexpress.
