The Swiss Family Card is a free add-on to any Swiss Travel System rail pass. You can request for one when you order such a pass. If you forgot to do so you can get one at staffed Swiss rail stations. Below you can find who's issuing Swiss Family Cards.

  • Pass validation: if there are any blank fields (e.g. passport number), you can fill these out yourself. There is no need to visit a service desk for validation.

  • Print at home within 30 minutes is available for the Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Half Fare Card, Swiss Transfer Ticket, point to point tickets and reservations for the Golden Pass trains and Bernina/Glacier/Gotthard Panorama Express. International tickets: in most cases, a CHF 10 p.p. service fee applies ("SBB Auftragspauschale International"). For details, refer to the railway company servicing the station of choice.
