Swiss Pass

Swiss Pass

The Swiss Pass is mainly suitable for people who want to thoroughly explore a region or even the whole of Switzerland during their holidays. It allows you unlimited travelling by train, bus and boat throughout Switzerland, and you are entitled to receive a discount on many gondolas, funiculars and mountain trains. This kind of freedom is very convenient in case your holiday schedule is not completely planned in advance. Furthermore, you can easily go 'wherever the weather is good'. If there are poor weather conditions in your resort, you may nevertheless be able to go hiking in a valley further on, or even in another region. The Swiss Pass is valid for nearly all trains, including special trains such as the Glacier Express, Bernina Express, Heidi Express and Mont Blanc Express. The same applies to bus services: the Swiss Pass is valid for about all buses, but on some special routes, a surcharge (Alpine Ticket) or a seat reservation is required. The Swiss Pass clearly offers ease of use: you hardly need to go to a ticket office for your train and bus trips. You can get on board right away! A Swiss Pass with a 15% discount can be purchased if you travel with two or more people. This is the Swiss Saver Pass.
