How to travel to the Weissfluhgipfel
You'll reach the Weissfluhgipfel by taking the funicular from the town of Davos.
The route
Weissfluhgipfel can be reached by funicular from Davos Dorf. Davos Dorf can be reached by train via Chur, Landquart, the Albula Valley or the Lower Engadine.
From the Davos Dorf train station, follow the signs to the Parsennbahn (funicular) station. The walk takes about 5 minutes. Then, the trip is completed in 3 sections. That is an attraction in itself!
Section 1: Davos Dorf to Höhenweg
You first travel by funicular from Davos Dorf (1,560 m) to the mid-station Höhenweg (2,218 m) in 5 minutes.
Section 2: Höhenweg to Weissfluhjoch
You'll switch to another funicular to the Weissfluhjoch (2,665 m) where you'll arrive 5 minutes later. "Joch" means that this is a saddle between mountains. It's not the top ("Gipfel") yet.
Section 3: Weissfluhjoch to Weissfluhgipfel
A cable car is then available to take you another 200 meters higher to the Weissfluhgipfel at 2,843 meters.
