March is at the very end of the Winter season in the high alps. Many services are closed.
At lower altitudes, not such a problew. There are traces of Spring appearing.
Luzern would be a good base.

Hi… I think you should do 2 nights stay in lucerne and cover mt pilates n mt titlis from there. Since you will cover them by afternoon u will have enuf time to explore the city or going to places like Zurich and zug which are equally beautiful. Rest of the nights u can make ur base at Interlaken and if u don’t mind and are nature loving u sud definately stay at the place grindelwald which a 30 mins from Interlaken from train. It’s just amazing. !! See all these places at you tube and plan ur journey accordingly. There are many scienic train routes like one is golden pass express and glacier express .. since u have Swiss pass u should make best use of it.

Hi Kirts-
That depends a lot on what you mean by “cover.”
Technically, I believe you are correct about having some time available.
In practice, there can be things to do to take time at both Titlis and Pilatus. And, the route to Pilatus offers variations that can take different amounts of time. Suppose that the weather is nice and you want to walk around and see the beautiful scenery at Titlis?

If i were trying to do as you suggest, I’d look at the timetable:

and plan my journeys. The destination station for Titlis is “Kleintitlis.”
Adding a 2 hour round trip to Zürich afterwards would be stretching it, even if you did not leave the main station to walk around the city. If you do have time, Luzern itself is worth spending several hours exploring.
