Hello, We are a couple with 2 teens (17 & 18) and we start our ski trip from Geneve airport directly to Zermatt (1 Week skiing) from where we intend to take a Glacier Express to St Moritz. From St Moritz (5 days skiing) we go to Bern to spent one night and from Bern we come back to Geneve to sleep our last night. From Geneve we return to the airport. Which kind of pass is more suitable for us. The half fare travel card is suitable for the guys? What are the differences btw half fare and Youth pass? Thank you in advance

I think you mean the Youth Swiss Travel Pass when you say youth pass? There is no youth discount for the Swiss Half Fare Card so I think that is what you are comparing.
You could look at either the Swiss Half Fare Card for all of you or the Swiss Travel Pass Flex (there is a youth discount for them).
To know the best rail pass economically for everyone, you have to do the math unfortunately. We do have a page here on how to choose the best rail pass that will help with that. 🙂
I would think with your itinerary, that a Swiss Half Fare Card would be the best option for all of you. You then get 50% off all train, buses etc that you take in the country.
You also need to make a mandatory reservation on the Glacier Express for everyone.

Based on just the 4 main train trips you plan to take I’d say you will save about CHF100 using a 4-day Swiss Travel Pass Flex. But you would be confined to making savings only on your 4 main travel days. The Swiss Half-Fare Card would save you a bit less but the shortfall would probably be made up by offering 50% savings on any other travel you did (eg half-fare on Gornergrat at Zermatt, Geneva to Geneva Airport at end of trip, any local trips around St Moritz).
Advantage of Pass is you don’t need to buy any tickets (apart from GEX reservation) – just hop on train and go on valid travel days.
