    Cheers Everyone! Happy Easter!

We’re going to buy a half fare card. We are coming from Zurich and going to Lucern for 2 days and from Zurich we’re planning to go directly  to hike in Stoos ridge,  excursion to Mt. Pilatus or Mt. Titlis . Is tell pass covered this itinerary? Or I have to get a golden route ticket for Mt. Pilatus. or saver pass both days?

    Thank you again.

    Karen

    Hi Karen,

That’s great you have decided on the Swiss Half Fare Card.  Should you require any handy online purchase options, there are some reputable ones listed in the link here:

Yes, the Tell-Pass would cover the places you mention, though not all your travel from Zurich.  Depending on the route you take, you’d need to buy a ticket Zurich-Baar or Zurich-Zug, then the Tell-Pass would kick in and you can travel freely.

Here’s our Tell-Pass guide, detailing all the inclusions – there’s also a handy coverage map you can download and you can see all the routes displayed:

A visit to Pilatus with the Tell-Pass, all the below routes are free 🙂

    • Alpnachstad to Mount Pilatus (train)
    • Kriens to Mount Pilatus (cableway)
    • Lucerne to Alpnachstad (train or boat)
    • Lucerne to Kriens (bus)

I’d say no need for Saver Day Passes for your plans above, if you have the Tell-Pass. Though, if you’d still like to read about the Saver Day Pass, you can do so here:

    Kind regards,

    Yolanda
