7 days trip to Switzerland, arriving from Salzburg
Smriti is traveling with her mom and sister for a week in Switzerland starting from August 30. They plan to visit Thun, Grindelwald, Lucerne, and Zurich, with activities like hiking, paragliding, and lake cruises. Her main questions are about transportation to Thun and the best Swiss Travel Pass for her stay.
- Take the train from Salzburg to Thun and use the Swiss Travel Pass for internal travels within Switzerland.
- An 8-day Swiss Travel Pass is recommended as it covers most of your trips and many museums.
- For your journey from Salzburg to the Swiss border, buy a regular ticket before switching to your Swiss Travel Pass.
