Activity suggestions for travel day from Zermatt to Lucerne

    I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on activities on our travel day from Zermatt to Lucerne.  By then we would be done with both Bernina and Glacier express.  So not sure if we want to go Lucerne via Montreux and make it another long travel day.  Any other suggestions on things to do along the way?

    Hi Shahed,

    If you don’t feel like taking the Goldenpass route, you could take the faster route via Bern, and spend a couple of hours strolling in the Altstadt (Old City).

    Hi Shahed,

    If you are not rushing to get to Lucerne, you can travel on the Lötschberg mountain railway (https://www.myswissalps.com/activity/lotschberg-mountain-railway/) from Brig to Bern, then continue to Lucerne.
