Let me rephrase the question…. what is the fastest route to depart Bellagio and arrive in Luzern … should we hire a driver/taxi or ferry to Como and depart from Como S. Giovanni? or ferry to Menaggio then taxi to Lugano railway station?
I want to take the scenic train to Lucerne. (I believe it goes through Erstfeld). Please advise how to book this ticket) I am not interested in the Gotthard Panorama express with the boat from Fluelen.

The SBB Timetable which Maria provided will offer you the fastest route from Como or Menaggio to Luzern via Göschenen which is what you are looking for. You can buy tickets there as well.
Getting from Menaggio to Lugano by public transport is problematic (but see attached). I’d suggest you get yourself to Como, which offers more connections, and go from there (see attached example).
