Can I buy the Swiss Travel Pass in Zurich Airport?

    Hi, we are arriving to Zurich in Friday morning and want to buy the Swiss Travel Pass. it is less then 3 days before our arrival. is it still OK to buy it online ? we will receive it on time ? is it possible to purchase it in Zurich Airport?

    Hi AmitFelman,

    Yes, your timeline is a bit too tight I think to buy the Swiss Travel Pass online. If you are just going into Zurich you could print it at a hotel when it does arrive, but if you are heading off on a long train right away it may be best to buy it at the Swiss Railways (SBB) office at Zurich airport (you can buy it at any manned SBB office).

    Hi AmitFelman,

    I just checked with Happyrail and they e-mail the pass within one business day, so that’s real quick. It’s too late for you now but at least you know for a next time. Delivery times can be found on the page Lucas linked to. I will add this one as well.

    just to be sure, the Swiss Travel Pass includes the Bernina Express train ride from Chur to Tirano and back?it also include the train rides from Zurich to Chur and back?

    Yes, all of that is included (see the map), but Bernina Express seat reservations are not included.
