Hi every one…we will travel from Interlaken Ost to Zurich in the morning. The train route shows change at Bern station from track 2 to track 6. Also the time we will have is 10 min. Will the time be sufficient with luggage and 2 kids for changeover?

    Hi rohini Jain,

Yes, technically. You’ll just need to have all your things gathered with you and ready to get off the train as soon as you arrive. These connections are designed to work (that would be mean if they were designed not to work)!. 🙂

If you miss the train you can simply take the next one on to Zurich (assuming you have a rail pass or normal train ticket?

Check schedules here (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable) they leave frequently.

Thank u Luke for the reply.

We have swiss travel passes along with family card. Actually we have to make the bookings from Zurich to Salzburg on the same day.

Is there a map which can show us the time required to change tracks or the distance between the tracks at Bern station?

    Hi Rohini Jain,

You should be quite fine with 10 minutes for changing trains.

To help you find your way use following link incl. a very helpful map of the station:
