Clothes in July and for Jungfraujoch
A traveler from Edinburgh is heading to Interlaken on Monday and is uncertain about whether to pack winter clothes for a trip to Jungfraujoch, especially due to forecasted thunderstorms. They've already packed summer dresses but are considering adding rain gear and seeking advice on clothing for high-altitude weather.
- Make sure to pack warmer clothes like fleece jumpers and hats for the Jungfrau as temperatures drop significantly at altitude.
- Waterproof and non-slip footwear is essential for walking in the snow, so tennis shoes might not be enough.
- Don't forget sunglasses and suncream as the sun can be intense, even in colder temperatures.
- Consider the Swiss Travel Pass for convenient travel options to Jungfraujoch and other attractions.
