Hi all, we will be doing a 1 day trip to Jungfraujoch and this is the current plan (To visit Grindelwald, Jungfraujoch and Lauterbrunnen)

    Grindelwald Terminal-Eigergletscher (Eiger Express)

    Eigergletscher-Jungfraujoch (Cogwheel)

    Jungfraujoch-Eigergletscher (Cogwheel)

    Eigergletscher-Lauterbrunnen (Train)

I understand i need to buy the ticket for Eiger express (discounted price with STP), but for the journey up to Jungfraujoch from Eigergletscher, do i still need to purchase another ticket?

Also, do i need another ticket coming down towards Lauterbrunnen since i went up from Grindelwald?

    Thank you 🙂

Hi Ronnie98 and welcome to MySwissAlps.com!

At http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch/gettingthere you can find the route options and how you can reach Jungfraujoch.

You can buy your tickets here: shop.switzerlandtravelcentre.com/en/product/excursionJungfraujoch. You can travel by cogwheel train or Eiger Express gondola to the Jungfraujoch, it doesn’t matter which one you take, you can try both like going up via one and coming down via the other.

    Hi Ildiko,

    Thanks for the reply.

To clarify, i only have to purchase 1 ticket up to jungfraujoch (via eiger express), and subsequently i can choose any way down is that right?

The ticket for eiger express, i can buy it at grindelwald terminal or interlaken directly right?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

you have to buy a return ticket to Jungfraujoch, not just a one way ticket. Here is what you should know about the tickets and prices: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch/tickets.

You can buy it online via STC (shop.switzerlandtravelcentre.com/en/product/excursionJungfraujoch) or at the stations and tourist offices (Grindelwald or Interlaken as well). To learn more, please visit: http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses/practical/wheretobuy

    Hi Ronni98,

If you have a Swiss Travel Pass, you can get a discounted ticket online: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch/tickets

A return ticket is valid on all routes. So for example you can travel up via Grindelwald Terminal (Eiger Express) and return via Wengen. Or follow the route in reverse.

    Regards,

    Anna
