Munich-Hallstatt-12 days Switzerland: Eurail Global Pass, reservations
A traveler is planning a trip with their wife in May, starting with a day in Munich and a day in Hallstatt, followed by 12 days in Switzerland. They are unsure whether to use the Eurorail Pass for their journey and need advice on transportation options and potential reservation fees.
- Consider using the Eurail Global Pass if your plans align with its coverage for a more flexible trip.
- Research different Swiss rail passes that might better suit your travel plans within Switzerland.
- Be aware that some activities or transportation may require reservations and extra fees, so plan ahead for those.
