How to use the Regional Pass Lake Geneva Alps
A traveler named Nishan is planning a trip to Switzerland with three others for four days in the first week of October, basing themselves in Leysin. They want advice on whether to use the Swiss Travel Pass for visiting attractions like Glacier 3000 and Lake Geneva, and are curious about pricing, discounts, and online purchase options.
- The Swiss Travel Pass allows two days of free travel and discounts on remaining days, which fits Nishan's plan.
- It covers boat rides on Lake Geneva and offers discounts for attractions like Glacier 3000.
- Buying the Regional Pass online is possible, but it's recommended to purchase it in Switzerland, especially if you need it quickly.
- Use the SBB Mobile app for the best travel planning and ticket purchasing experience.

Hi,
We are 4 dults travelling to Switzerland on 1st week of October for 4 days. My base would be Leysin. My return is from Geneva airport. During my stay my plan is to visit Glacier 3000, Rocher de Nayer, boat ride in Geneva lake and some tourist spots around Montreux. Will Geneva Alps pass worth for these attractions or point to point tickets will be economical? Please help in clarifying.
1. How much of the pass will cover the Glacier3000 (cost/discount)?
2. For my 4 days of stay can I mark day2 & day3 for free travel and day1 & day4 for 50% off?
3. Can I buy it online? If yes then from where?
4. Does it cover any boat ride in Geneva lake?
Thanks in advance
