That’s great you are wanting to experience the Excellence Class on the Glacier Express
Excellence Class can be booked for the entire timetable period, which is at the moment, until 14.10.2023. Just so you are aware no Glacier Express trains will run between 15.10.2023 and 09.12.2023 – there is a seasonal break.
So, on that note, that’s right – we will need to wait a little longer till the new timetable is released for 10 December onwards.

The draft 2024 timetable is already published and the Glacier Express service times aren’t changing much, but bookings can’t be released until the final go ahead is given for the 2024 timetable

In the past, the SBB usually releases its new timetable in October. But I’m not sure that will be the case for the timetable for 2024.
For clarification, it’s probably best to contact the Glacier Express operator directly for reservation on the Glacier Express Excellence in December 2023.

Don’t confuse the national timetable with the reservation requirement for the Glacier Express. The national timetable is already know, but it is up to the national transport agency and the operator of the Glacier Express (MGB and RhB railway companies) when the tickets and reservations will be set to ‘go live’
