Is it possible to hike around Murren late October? Any suggestions for hiking trails that can still be done during that time?

It is quite possible, and should be beautiful on a sunny day. For specific trail information, the best is you inquire at the tourist office once you are there.
Be careful if it rains, don’t hike alone. Snowfall cannot be fully ruled out, but is unlikely.
Hello Sasja,
To get some inspiration on possible hikes in the Murren area please see below link. Hikes are at the bottom of the page.

However, do take Snowman’s advice seriously, ask upon arrival for local circumstances and also read below pages for more input:

Hi Sasja
Snowman’s suggestion is good. I don’t know if there is a tourist office in Murren but Interlaken and Grindelwald do and I believe Wengen does too. You do not say where you are staying but if at a Hotel they can be very helpful as well. We always stay at a family owned and run hotel in Wengen and the owner knows every trail in the area and if they are likely passable.
When we were there in September 2018 it snowed4 or 5 inches around First and you couldn’t see the trails for a day or so. But likely in late October you will be OK. The lower trails especially should be clear like Lauterbrunnen valley and probably mid mountain trails as well.

Thank you!
