Hiking suggestions for 4 days in Jungfrau region
-
Hi!
We will spending roughly 3 days in the Jungfrau region next week and are hoping to get some input to help finalize our itinerary.
We will be based out of Wilderswil (near Interlaken) as we would like to see Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Kandersteg (Oeschinensee). We are very active/fit and experienced hikers, and will have our dog with us.
Both the Eiger Trail and Mannlichen Panorama trail are at the top of our list, but we are wondering if the views from these hikes will be similar – should we chose to do one of these, and a completely different hike?
Here is our current itinerary. We’d appreciate any suggestions/tips for how we can improve it to see more of the surrounding area. Thanks in advance!
DAY 1 – ARRIVE: Harder Klum view point
DAY 2 – GRINDELWALD: First Cliff Walk, Bachalpsee, Eiger Trail, Glacier Canyon (if we have time)
DAY 3 – LAUTERBRUNNEN: Lauterbrunnen Valley to Stechelberg, **Mannlichen Panorama trail
**Should we switch this for a trail in Murren? eg Murren North Face Trail
DAY 4 – KANDERSTEG: Oeschinensee Lake (then depart to Zurich)
