Horseback riding in the Swiss Alps late May
A traveler named Walt is planning a family trip to Switzerland at the end of May and beginning of June. He is looking for a two-to-three-hour horseback riding experience for his daughter in the Jura region and is seeking recommendations for beautiful places with longer trail rides closer to his uncle's home near Basel.
- Consider Saignelegier for horseback riding, as it's a major center for equestrian activities and only 1 hour and 40 minutes by train from Basel.
- The Swiss Travel Pass may be a good option for convenient travel throughout Switzerland, especially if you plan to visit multiple locations.
- Keep in mind that high-elevation trails in the Alps could still be snow-covered in late May, so focusing on lower elevations or the Jura is advisable.

My family and I are travelling to Switzerland at the end of May/beginning of June. My daughter wants to go horseback riding in the Alps. A two-three hour trail ride is what she is looking for. I was wondering if anyone knows of some beautiful scenery filled places to go. Doesn’t really matter which part, but if I could find a spot in the Jura, that would be option 1.
