How to get to Mount Titlis from Lucerne
A traveler is planning an 8-day trip to Switzerland this July and is looking for advice on taking a day trip to Mount Titlis from Lucerne. They plan to use the Swiss Family Pass and will be staying in Lucerne for the first couple of nights. They want to know the best way to reach Mount Titlis using the Swiss Travel Pass.
- Take a train from Lucerne to Engelberg, then use a shuttle bus or walk to the gondola station for Mount Titlis.
- The train ride to Engelberg is covered by the Swiss Travel Pass, and you get a 50% discount on the gondola tickets.
- Trains from Lucerne to Engelberg leave every hour at 10 minutes past the hour.
