Will you be doing all traveling by public transport? In that case you may want to look into a 4 day Swiss Travel Pass, since you mention destinations that are quite far apart and thus require long train trips. Regular train and boat trips will be for free; mountain trains and cable cars are discounted. It’s a very convenient way of traveling, since you won’t need to buy many additional tickets, as you will have to do with the Swiss Half Fare Card.
The Swiss Half Fare Card is certainly an alternative. In both cases, children will travel along for free on all trips with the free Swiss Family Card.
