Interlaken to Spiez by boat with Swiss Travel Pass
Avinash is planning a quick trip and wants to know if he can take a boat from Interlaken to Spiez, skipping the full journey to Lake Thun due to time constraints. He also inquires about the time required for this journey and if he needs to pay while using the Swiss Travel Pass.
- You can take the boat from Interlaken to Spiez and it takes about 15 minutes.
- The Swiss Travel Pass covers the cost of the journey, so you won't need to pay extra.
- Consider walking to Spiez station may take longer than expected; budget around 30 minutes.
- An alternative could be taking the train to Spiez instead of the boat, as you'll see similar scenery along the route.

Hello Team,
Is it possible to take boat which is going from Interlaken to Lake Thun and get down at Spiez ? I have less time so may not be able to take complete journey till Thun so want to cut down till Spiez. How much time does it take till Spiez?
If I am taking Swiss pass then do I need to pay for this journey?
Thanks,
Avinash
