    Hi Sharon,

I hope your friends are enjoying their time in Interlaken. Tomorrow is expected to be sunny and quite warm. A trip up Jungfraujoch would be a nice way to escape from the heat for a short while. If it’s your last day in Interlaken, I suggest start your excursion early in the morning so you can have the afternoon free for other plans.

You can find information about tickets to Jungfraujoch here: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch/tickets

    Enjoy your trip!

    Regards,

    Anna

    Hi Skrise,

Do watch the webcams of Jungfrau from your hotel TV before you decide to get your tickets tomorrow. if the weather is good and the view is clear, then I personally would recommend taking the trip as a once in a lifetime experience (assuming it will not be as crowded as the summer months of June/July/Aug) For those of us who don’t have the kind of views back home which only the swiss alps and mountain rides can offer, we enjoyed it when it was not so crowded..it won’t be as fun if there are crowds.

When you are at the Jungfraujoch, don’t rush around but take it easy because of the altitude. Remember to go to the outside platform to view the glacier and walk up to the area where the flag is. Inside the station, there are also interesting information about how they built the tunnel etc as you walk through the area.

I am not sure what rides you have taken during your time in Interlaken. The ride itself esp from Wengen up to KScheidegg is wonderful. So is the Eiger Express from Eigergletscher to the Grindelwald Terminal which you can do after your trip to Jungfraujoch.

    Enjoy yourself!
