    Hello,

Now that it’s high season ðo we have to book jungfraujoch tickets in advance?
    If so how early?

Based 3 to 4 days weather forecast if we book tickets, can we reserve with a combination of Eiger express forward and return by train to Lauterbrunen?

    Kindly suggest.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Bheemesh

    Hi Bheemesh,

If your plans are confirmed and the weather forecast is looking good, yes you can  purchase your tickets in advance.  Tickets for a visit to Jungfraujoch won’t sell out.

Option 1 in our “Where to buy Jungfraujoch tickets and tours: recommended webshops” in our Jungfraujoch travel guide will cover your requirements.

Note, seat reservations are now compulsory for a visit to Jungfraujoch between May and August. So similarly, once you know what time you will be heading up, lock in your seat reservations.  You can find the details on the seat reservations in the “Other websites of interest” section.

    Kind regards,

    Hello Yolanda,

While you mentioned buying tickets in advance,  can we buy return tickets where we start from Grindelwald Eiger express but return by train via Lauterbrunen?

    Regards, Bheemesh

    Hi Bheemesh,

A return ticket to Jungfraujoch is generally valid on all routes (via Wengen, Grindelwald or Grindelwald Terminal).  The seat reservation is applicable between Eigergletscher/Kleine Scheidegg and Jungfraujoch (you can book this on the Jungfrau Railway official website).

    Regards,
    Anna
