    Hello forum folks,

first time post here. I am planning my family (with 2 kids aged 19 and 15) vacation in Switzerland next summer.  We plan to fly in to Zurich and stay there for the first day. In the second day, we plan to  spend most of time in Lucerne before taking the train to Interlaken Ost, then to Wengen via Lauterbrunnen by the end of the day (to check-in the hotel)

my Question is :- If we planned to visit Pilatus Kulm via Ferry (arrive at Alpnachstad), will Berner Oberland Pass amd Swiss Half Fare Card cover the ferry and the cable train? if not, what would you recommend for both Ferry and train?

Thank you for all helps and suggestions in advance !

    Hi alex_wong,

Welcome to MySwissAlps. The Berner Oberland Pass is not valid for excursion to Pilatus. However you can use the Swiss Half Fare Card to get discounts on the boat trip from Lucerne to Alpnachstad and the cogwheel train to Pilatus.

You can find further details here: https://www.myswissalps.com/activity/pilatus/#price

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Anna
