If you enter Zurich Flughafen (Airport) to St Moritz you will join the Glacier Express route at Chur. There are regular trains.
Allow at least an hour from your arrival time to reach the airport station.

Thank you for the information! I have seen the timetable but still find it confusing. I will download the app. There seems to be conflicting information on the internet about whether it is possible to board the Glacier Express at Chur and exit at St. Moritz. We are planning to spend 5-7 days in St. Moritz at either Badrutt’s Palace or The Kulm. Then return to Zurich for a day before heading back to the US. None of us have been to Switzerland before and we are just trying to pick a spot that will be beautiful that time of year. If you have other recommendations we are open because we are only in the planning phase. Are there any “must see/do” things you can recommend?
You can board the Glacier Express at Chur. It ends at St Moritz. There are limited departures of the Glacier Express so you might find regular hourly trains fit better with you timetable. The route and scenery is identical.
If I only had 1 week in Switzerland I think I would be inclined to spend it in the Jungfrau Region. But I’ve never been to St Moritz so maybe I’m just biased. The Graubünden has a lot to offer.

I think St. Moritz and the Upper Engadine are a wonderful choice for a 1 week stay. September 2020! Don’t make any hard plans at this point. Your flight(s), either booked or some you may book in the future, may well change between now and then. My wife is a world traveler, and she experiences many flight changes on long booked reservations. Many are short changes of 10 to 30 minutes, but a few are much longer to the rare cancellation of one leg of a journey.
