Murren – Lauterbrunnen – Wengen is ‘free’ with a Swiss T Pass.
Above Wengen to Jungfraujoch it costs the normal full fare less 25% .
Quite a few people argue that Jungfraujoch itself is over-rated, but it’s your choice. You get a great view of the Eiger / Jungfrau etc without even having to leave Mürren.

From Lauterbrunnen a very nice (fully covered by the Swiss Travel Pass) circuit to do is to Grütschalp (cable car), Mürren (train), Gimmelwald (cable car), Stechelberg (cable car), Lauterbrunnen (bus). From Mürren you can easily visit Schiltorn and Allmendhubel if you have time. In between Stechelberg and Lauterbrunnen the bus stops at the Trummelbach Falls. Well worth a look. Also, depending on your travel plan, a Swiss rail card may not be your most cost effective option. Using the rail time table and fares, the best rail card depends on the regions and distance of travel.
There is a Swiss Half Fare Card.
There is a Regional Pass Bernese Oberland
There is a Jungfrau Travel PassThese may be a better deal than the much pricier swiss rail.
You need to do the math to compare itinerary vs. Costs of these.

Indeed, I’m only half way through the math. Head is spinning.
I am going from Basel to Montreux for 5 days (some day trips there), then going to Murren for 5 nights. Then, return to Basel.
I believe, based on current plans for hikes and trips, that my best bet is half fare card plus Bernese Oberland. However, it might be Half fare card plus Junfrau region. I have determined that it is NOT the Swiss Rail pass based on the rules of thumb.
Indeed, it is dizzying – as the BO card gives you half off to Montreux (once you go beyond BO border). Montreux lodging includes a local travel card. If you get the half fare card, the BO card is also discounted. etc etc.
