    This is very helpful, thank you. We will be in Zermatt for 1August and I see it’s not mentioned here. I also can’t tell from their website if they will have the meals in the streets type event this year. Has anybody heard?

    I’m not sure if there will be a street party in Zermatt on Aug 1st. Have a look at the details here: http://www.zermatt.ch/en/Events/Top-Events/The-Major-Festival-Switzerland-s-National-Holiday-in-Zermatt

    The National Day celebration starts at the Leisee lake on Sunegga. I think that’s worth checking out.
