4 days Zermatt: Swiss Half Fare Card enough or Peak Pass?

    Hi Again,

    We will be in Zermatt for 4 days. We have half fare pass. Is 3 days peak pass worth it? Or just use half fare card for our day to day plan.

    Hi Karen,

    That would depend on your travel plans whilst there.

    If you have the Swiss Half Fare Card  https://www.myswissalps.com/travel-ticket/swiss-half-fare-card/) I am not sure if you are aware, but you would receive a 25% discount when you purchase the Peak Pass.

    As to whether it’s worth it, you’d need to have a think how many trips you think you would make whilst there.  Since you would already receive discounted ticket prices for the mountain excursions with your Swiss Half Fare Card, the Peak Pass may not be that beneficial unless you were planning to visit the mountains more than once during your stay.
