Hello, Looking for advice for a family of 6 (adult, adult, 20 student, 17 student, 16,14)

We are arriving from Zurich airport July 12th and taking the train(s) to Zermatt. We will also be using the gondola system in Zermatt for 4 days then departing on the 17th to return to Zurich airport. The last time I was there with just my husband we obtained the half off travel pass. Im not certain what the most economical way to travel is. 1/2 travel pass with added family pass for one adult? Is there a student option? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Nikitta and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

The Swiss Family Card does not work the way you seem to think. It would only cover your 14 year old. You would need 4 Swiss Half Fare Cards to cover the rest of your family.
