Hi Jayy123,
If you’re there in summer and haven’t planned any snow sports there is no need to rent clothes. Just dress in layers as explained here. And make sure to have sunglasses as explained on our Jungfraujoch page and other pages.
If you still want to rent clothes you can best ask a sports shop. There is one at the base station of the Titlis cableway. But again, for general sightseeing people don’t do this.
Have fun!

Alrigt Arno!
Most probably we won’t be renting them, but just in case if we’d need to rent stuff then how much would it cost at those sports shops?

I don’t know about prices but you can get in touch here: http://www.titlis-rent.ch/en/stores/titl is-station.

Thanks so much Arno! I wanted exactly that!
I first went to the bottom of the page and clicked on reservations/price list. Then I checked for snowshoes. Now in the snowshoes row, they’ve mentioned 8pm in the ‘1 day’ column. What do they mean by that? Is it an error (and thus, is it 8 chf) or is it 8pm somehow and the rent for 1 day is 35 chf (which is actually the second column). I know this is confusing but if you could please go through it once and help me out?
I also couldn’t see anything like handgloves in the entire list, that’s something we’d mostly wanna rent. What shall we do?

Snowshoes are a specialised type of equipment for winter hiking. They are not relevant for the casual visitor who is sightseeing in the alps.

Handgloves are quite cheap to buy and easy to carry around in a pocket or bag. That might be why you don’t see them for rent.

But to buy handcloves in the summer, will be a great problem. The most shops sell this only in wintertime………

Hey Brahms! That’s good to hear. If that’s the case I’m sure we won’t need them! Thanks! 👍
