SBB Saver Day Pass Zurich to Zermatt

Short summary – read this first

    Hello,

i purchased a Saver Day Pass on the SBB app for December 27. I want to do a day trip from Zurich to Zermatt…does this pass cover my trip? How do I use it? Do I just walk up to the train station and scan it in, then board the train? Do I need to prebook the trip or just walk up Day of with the pass? I am new to this and need help!

    Hi Arodr515,

Reservations are extremely uncommon on Swiss trains – you can make them on some trains but not all. If you want to make reservations you can here: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/reservations but I wouldn’t worry about it on that route.
