SBB Saver Day Pass Zurich to Zermatt
Arodr515 is planning a day trip from Zurich to Zermatt on December 27 and has purchased a Saver Day Pass. They want to know if the pass covers their trip and how to use it effectively, asking if they can simply show the pass at the train station.
- The Saver Day Pass covers the trip from Zurich to Zermatt; just show it when requested.
- Reservations for seats on Swiss trains are not usually needed, so you can often board without one.

Hello,
i purchased a Saver Day Pass on the SBB app for December 27. I want to do a day trip from Zurich to Zermatt…does this pass cover my trip? How do I use it? Do I just walk up to the train station and scan it in, then board the train? Do I need to prebook the trip or just walk up Day of with the pass? I am new to this and need help!
