Tourist to purchase Swiss GA travel card?
Patricia is planning a 10-day trip to Switzerland in August. She will visit Bern for 3 days, then Wengen for 4 days, and finally Lucerne for 3 days before flying out of Zurich for one night. She wants to know if she can purchase a GA travel card as a senior tourist.
- The GA Travelcard is not practical for tourists since it requires a minimum commitment of four months and is more suited for residents.
- Consider purchasing a Swiss Travel Pass instead, which is available for the duration of your stay.
- The Senior GA Travelcard costs CHF 260 per month, making it a costly option for short-term visitors.
