Hello,
Every August I go to Switzerland for a hiking trip with my family. We’ve been all over Bernese oberlands (with either Wengen or Gstaad as a base), Zermatt and Appenzel. This summer, we are considering Verbier. Would this area be able to compete with the others in terms of hiking options, huts, etc.? We like to a do a few hours of hiking each day over the course of a week and love having places along the way to stop for refreshments. Thanks!
