I have a trip to Switzerland and Italy and I have some questions about the Swiss Travel Pass Flex

1 – Will the Swiss Travel Pass Flex give me discounts in the mountains of Zermatt even if it’s not valide that day?

2 – How does work the trip from Bern to Milan with Swiss Pass? I know I’ll be covered up to the border in Chiasso, and I have to buy a ticket from Chiasso to Milan. Do I buy this ticket onTrenitalia or SBB website? Do I have to get off the train in Chiasso?

    Thanks

Hello livika and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

    1. No. You only get discounts on days you nominate to use the pass. See “Travelling on none free days” at http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpassflex/howt ouse. Have you read “How to choose the best travel pass” (http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/ticketspasses/prac tical/chooserailpass)?

    2. The fastest route Bern to Milan is via Domodossola but you can go via Chiasso. You can buy ticket for Italian leg of journey via SBB or Trenitalia. You normally would stay on same train.
