    Hi,

We’re traveling in Switzerland for 4-5 days in October and wondering which rail pass would benefit us most: Swiss Travel Pass or Bernese Oberland Regional Pass?

    Our itinerary would be:

Day 1 – ZRH to Luzern (at separate expense)

Day 2 – Lucerene to Seelisberg to Bauen and back at Lucerne

Day 3 – Grindelwald, Lauterbraunnen and Jungfraujoch

Day 4 -Hike to hike to Bachalpsee Lake and Oberhofen

Day 5 – Thun to Basel

    Thanks in advance! 🙂

    Hi melai04, welcome to MySwissAlps,

From these two options a 4-day Swiss Travel Pass from day 2 to 5 seems to make more sense as it also includes your trips on day 2 and day 5. If you want to compare the costs in details you can follow the instructions here. If you do so, you may want to include a third option: the Swiss Half Fare Card.

The above links get you all the details about what’s covered, how to use the pass and where to buy.
