Christmas Village Montreux in early December: from Geneva or Zurich?
A traveler is planning a trip for the first week of December to visit the Christmas Village in Montreux. They want to know whether it's better to fly into Zurich or Geneva, considering travel time and scenery. They also seek advice on which city would be best for a first-time visitor staying a few days to explore Swiss history and landscapes.

- If you prefer a longer, scenic journey, consider flying into Zurich and taking the GoldenPass train line which offers beautiful views and takes about 6h20 to 7h00.
