Timetable explanation
A traveler is planning a trip to Mürren and needs help understanding the train options from Lauterbrunnen, which include abbreviations like BLM and LSMS. They find the timetable confusing and seek clarification on what these letters mean to better navigate their transportation options.
- Use the 'Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen Mürren' (BLM) for a scenic cable car ride followed by a narrow gauge train to Mürren.
- The LSMS stands for 'Luftseilbahn Stechelberg Mürren Schilthorn', providing another route; it connects via Postauto from Lauterbrunnen.
- All three stations in Mürren (BLM, LSMS-lsms, LSMS-sbm) are within walking distance, making it easy to navigate the area.

Hello,
I have been trying to price out some of our intended train trips, but find that, for example, I am given three different options for Murren- BLM, LSMS-sbm, or LSMS-lsms. What do the letters after the name “Murren” mean? Is there a guide somewhere that gives the explanation? Thanks!
