We are the holders of 2 for 1 pass. I understand that journey between Zermatt and Gornergrat is covered as free travel for holders of 2 for 1 Swiss Flexi pass, on the days it is used (i.e no additional ticket no reservation). But on other days, we will be eligible to 50 % discount when traveling without using the card, but within its validity. Kindly advise.

    Hello jogijsr,

If you have a Swiss Flexi pass, you will travel for free until Zermat on a day you use the card for free travelling. In Zermat you will have to buy an additional ticket (right across Zermat railway station) to go up to Gornergrat, you will get a 50% discount for those tickets. Reservations will not be necessary.

There is an overview of the network on which the Swiss Flexi pass is valid. You can find it on the Swiss Flexi pass page.

I hope this answers your question.

    Have a nice trip!
