    Thank you for your assistance.

Is it best to see the Riffelsee lake with the Matterhorn reflection by getting off at at Rotenbaden or Riffelalp?

    Thanks Dan

    Hi Dan,

Most travellers would get down at Rotenboden, which is one stop before the Gornergrat summit station. From Rotenboden follow the sign to Riffelsee (takes about 10 minutes). The trail is mostly downhill. Once you’re done you can continue to Rifflealp or simply walk back up to Rotenboden and take the train down. More information about the Rotenboden – Riffelalp trail here: http://www.myswissalps.com/hiking/rotenboden-riffelalp/route

    Enjoy your trip.

    Regards,

    Anna
