while booking in this website, it always opens to a viator site. I have heard both mixed positive and negative reviews about viator. Is viator reliable? I will be booking the titlis tour. But as it accounts to a lot of money so I am asking for suggestions.

    Hi Reema,

We link to lots of websites, because we do not sell anything ourselves. Indeed that includes Viator.com for (mostly guided) tours. Yes, they are perfectly reliable. They sell the activities and tours of many local Swiss companies. They have quite an interesting portfolio of products, so that’s why we link to them frequently.

    Hi Reema,

Sure, that’s ok. We always try to list the best tours on our pages (see below). Viator is reliable, but of course they can’t control everything, like the weather, other participants being late, etc.

Yes, viator is reliable. My one month Spain trip, I booked 7 of their tours. And some tours you can request for hotel pick up or nearest pick up point to your hotel. If you are uncertain, call their customers service, so far all my called are treated very professional.

    Hi Alma1935, and welcome!

You mean the one at http://www.viator.com/tours/Z urich/3-Day-Bernina-Express-Independent-Excursion-from-Zurich/d577-14343P7, right? In the morning of day 3 you’ll take a train across the new long Gotthard tunnel to Zurich. I’m quite sure you can travel via the scenic route and the short tunnel too (tickets cost the same). This is the train section of the Gotthard Panorama Express route.

I have used Viator for a number of interesting tours throughout Italy. They are a reliable and good value tour company. I also will be utilising their services next year when visiting Switzerland.

    Book with confidence.
