The second option is:
Lugano—Goschenn——
–Goschenn——Andermatt——
—Andermatt——–Zermatt—–
I am looking for the train trip with the best views and least amount of connections.

Hi Kathy. I think both options are great, and they both have scenic views. Here’s some explanation on the Centovalli line, in case you haven’t found it yet: http://www.myswissalps.com/centovalli.
You can use the timetable to search for all options and check the amount of connections. Use the ‘via’ function and enter towns along the way to get details on the exact options you have in mind. How to do so, is explained on this page: http://www.myswissalps.com/timetable. Mind to use the right spelling with ‘Göschenen’. The timetable is a great help in planning any trip!
Once you’ve selected a route you’re satisfied with, you need to check if it contains panoramic trains that require seat reservations. If this is the case, you can arrange for them using the ‘Tickets’ tabs of each of our train route pages. Anna already gave you the links for the Glacier Express and the Gotthard Panorama Express, and here’s the one for the Centovalli railway: http://www.myswissalps.com/centovalli/tickets.

Hi Kathy,
There are regular trains to Lugano from Zurich Main Station. I think half hourly and most have direct connections (you do n0t have to switch trains). You can use the SBB timetable to plan your journeys.
