Which pass is best?
A traveler is planning a trip through Switzerland, starting from Zurich to Zermatt and then exploring Aletsch and Wengen for hiking over 7 days. They are confused about which travel pass to choose, seeking advice on the Swiss Travel Pass, Half Fare Pass, and others to cover their extensive train and gondola journeys.
- Consider the Swiss Travel Pass Flex Combi for your itinerary, as it allows free travel on some days and discounts on others.
- The Swiss Half Fare Card is an alternative, but it may not cover the most expensive trips, so be sure to calculate costs based on your travel plans.
- It's often cheaper to buy passes online before arriving in Switzerland, so compare resellers for the best deal.
