    Hi Jason!

    I am happy to tell you that you will get that kind of view from many places in Zermatt, this is why tourists love it so much! Zermatt is surrounded by mountains and particularly the Matterhorn can be seen from pretty much anywhere in the village which is why the atmosphere is so charming.

    To get that particular view, you should walk through the town when you arrive and then walk up the hill via Riedweg or Murini streets… From memory there are also some lifts you can take. You can even stay at hotels on that side and wake up with the same view, have done that a few times!

    That view is taken from the paths above the Wiesti area of Zermatt, looking southwest

    On the map linked here it would be somewhere in the vicinity of the word Beetschi
