Hi, I will be staying in Zurich city in December and I wanted to do a day trip from there to Interlaken and Grindelwald. can someone help me find the easiest and best way to navigate there? I’m a bit lost with the train situation.

You can reach Grindelwald from Zurich by train in 2.5 hours. The fastest connection requires just one change in Interlaken Ost. Hi Amal,

December or winter in general is a good time to visit Switzerland if you wish to experience snow and don’t mind the cold weather. The ski/winter season in Grindelwald starts in mid-December. If you don’t ski, perhaps you might want to try snowshoeing or tobogganing on the mountain. Or you could just go for a relaxing winter walk.
